Beware the Daleks!

If I had TARDIS, I would most certainly visit the Star Wars universe. And there I would warn Han Solo about the betrayal of Lando Carlissian in the Cloud City. Like every good geek would. If you don't understand this post, it means that you havent't watched Star Wars. What are you waiting for?

George Carlin, a recently deceased American stand-up comedian. He used to be an artist who loved black humor and didn't know what taboo is. Since me and my girlfriend got ourselves a dog, something about pets. Just don't take it seriously!

Second language...

We often have no idea how lucky we are to know English. Currently, I take it for granted that I can surf the web unconstrained, go almost everything I want and understand every single word.

But what would it be like if I didn't know second language? I suppose I'd never visit any foreign website. Neither would I go abroad, since the problems with communication woud make me too anxious to even try miming anything. This is one way to put it. The other is to relate to the fact that languages make us better. They show us different perrspectives on the world, open us to other cultures and new possibilities.
